My brothers often make up “what if” scenarios where they take ordinary situations and they think up crazy, unusual twists. Sometimes this game drives me crazy! It seems like they can come up with an endless amount of ridiculous “what ifs.” At times, it seems like they will never stop talking, but this game is a perfect example of their imaginations and confidence… to them nothing is too crazy to say out loud.
I am now realizing how long it has been since I have played the “what if game.” I need to start dreaming again and coming up with WHAT IFS for my life. God wants me to dream… and dream BIG!
These are a few of my WHAT IFS:
- What if Jesus was truly the ONLY thing I needed?
- What if I stopped caring what everyone thought of me and served Jesus without reserve?
- What if I starting going above and beyond what is expected/required of me?
