“you are the helper of the fatherless.”
On Wednesday the 21-day prayer guide encouraged us to that God would bring hope into the lives of the fatherless.
I can imagine that losing your father would bring so much pain. I started off praying for the obvious need of providence for the fatherless and kind of offering Jesus solutions to their problems (like He needed my help), but Jesus changed my focus.
He showed me that He longs for the fatherless children to come to Him. He will heal their hurt and be all that they need. Instead of spending all of my time in prayer on their physical needs, I focused on the spiritual needs of the fatherless- their need for Jesus. He is the only solution.
